Ohh thanks gals! I have never heard of fields, i will have to check it out. And I saw threadbender driving and wanted to go back, but couldn't find my way, haha.
I sew, knit and just make messes in general. If any one wants to craft or knows of any avenues to sell crafts let me know!

threadbender is right off of 44th st. right across from buffalo wild wings in the strip mall by magoos. its about a mile past the rivertown crossings mall. and stop in to noshville too if you like coffee, its open 24 hrs so its nice for studying late or study groups. also, theres a place called the whipple tree in hudsonville off of chicago drive just down the road from the family fare and secretary of states office. also if you like scrapbooking, stamping, crochet or knitting, cross-stitch, there's a place called country needleworks thats also off of chicago drive just down the road from target next to repcolite paint store and fields fabrics. and there's a pages in time just in front of the soccer zone right next to meijer. and there's a hobby lobby right across the street from meijer too.

depends on what it is...i used to shop at both threadbender and there for yarn and i've found that things are usually cheaper or equal at country needleworks. u just gotta compare prices just like at grocery stores.

I just got a job at the fields fabrics just up the street from campus and am honestly a little excited about starting. I'm glad to know there are a couple other crafters here! It's too bad there is no craft club or student org... I saw a guy knitting outside of Fresh just the other day.

ug,  I just got back from GV. My class is in Mak and of course I had to walk all the way past Kirkhoff in the rain.

I'm not a student, but I'd love to meet up and craft with people.   I'm 31 and I crochet, sew just a little, and do tie-dye. 

Was an SNB group ever started in GR?

there actually is a local group meeting at the Schuler books on alpine. They have a  yahoo group: GRknittersandcroche ters

I dont usually head up that direction but it would be nice to see a Craftster west michigan group.
