This was done using JoAnn Sensations Spectrum yarn and the green Knifty Knitter.  Because the yarn is soooo thick, I used every other peg.  The hat is pretty stretchy and fits like a cloche.  It used the entire skein (love that yarn but they don't give you much yardage)!  I'd say it took between 30-45 minutes, which is one of the best parts of all!   Yay Knifty Knitter!  Yay me!   Grin
