I like to do paper crafts, such as stationery, and I often have little bits of pretty paper left over, in odd shapes. I usually end up throwing them away, but there must be a use for them. Any ideas? Note that I usually don't have a whole lot of the same kind of paper, just lots of little random scraps.

When I have those scraps left over, I usually divide by color, and chop into a trillion little pieces... and then, when I have a notebook to cover or a gift to make, or when I'm bored, I make some pretty neat 'mosaic' looking art. Just draw your design, cover with glue, and plunk down your colors. Or... You could always send the pieces to me.  Wink

Me, I hate to waste even some of the papers.  I take my hole punch and have made the scraps into Confetti  Cheesy as one little girl told me, it's Party Time...Have several 3x4 bags already of the dots.

Ooh, that mosaic idea is fab! I think I'll try that. Thanks for the idea.

And, I thought about confetti - in fact, I have a cute little star hole punch and could make star confetti. But - I never have any parties! Haha.

You can use the confetti in scrapbooking and cardmaking, etc.  Just spread the glue where you want it, and sprinkle it on like glitter.  It would make a cool background...

I usually make PP`s (paper piecings) out of my scraps of paper. I also makes ATCs with them, or uses the scraps in mini shrines  Cheesy

I haven't tried ATCs yet, but I suppose I should. They seem really fun. I think the name always scared me off, b/c I don't consider myself an "artist."
