Maybe we could mention in the etiquette of swap that you must post when you have received your package.  It seems from reading the posts and from personal experience that that is something that gets forgotten sometimes.  For me I get really excited about sending my creation and then when I never hear from the person that I sent to it  makes me feel like it wasn't appreciated.

I agree with this too.  Sometimes it takes me a few days to post it though.  I can;t always make it to the computer every day although I try.

I am so for that! I've sent a couple of things w/o any feedback-- just delivery confirmation from USPS. If they don't like the stuff, that's cool, but at least acknowledge!!!

I would tend to agree. It's always a little disheartening to not know if your person actually has their item

  i agree with everyone. it is important to acknowledge someone's hard work otherwise the person may give up on swaps wouldn't it be awful if we didn't have them.

I can't figure out why people do this.  It's so disheartening to spend a bunch of time (which I have very little of with two small children) and money (which is also hard to come by) on a swap when the recipient never acknowledges its receipt or bothers to post about it.

Between bad experiences with the deco swaps and swap partners who can't be bothered to acknowledge that they've received their goodies (and maybe even liked it a little), I'm just about to give up on craftster swapping.

I agree with your post.  I was trying to figure out a diplomatic way of posting a swap for "good" swappers only.  I've only just started swapping for the past several months but have really taken a liking to it and would love to participate and maybe even organize one or more but I am disheartened by the lack of courtesy shown by some others. But, I guess a swap is a reflection of the world.  Sometimes it is great and sometimes it ain't.

I just sent something out that I really wanted to keep and never heard a word about it. I know it arrived because I've been checking the tracking number!

I'm so upset about it and I want to say something to that person, but I just don't know what to say.
