thanks guys! yeah maybe I'll make another Hobbes doll to swap because i can't sell anything that's copyrighted. Right now i'm making a matching Calvin doll... but i'm being a bit lazy. Although, Calvin is a lot more easy to make than Hobbes was. And being pressed for time with Hobbes (needed him for my hubby's B-day) made finishing him THAT much harder because i didn't think he would be ready in time. I worked ALL through the night the day before his birthday to get him done.. so yeah if i make another Hobbes to swap then i'll have more to to work on it.

I finally made a Calvin doll to go with the Hobbes doll.
I need to upload some pics of both of them together.
Wow.. Calvin was a lot more easy to make than Hobbes was..
His stripes were a killer!
But I'm glad everyone likes him!!  Cheesy

Wonderful job.  My husband wants one.  It'll be awhile before I try to tackle anything like that.  Your hubby's a lucky guy.  Smiley

No doubt!  If I could get one for $10 I'd laugh with incredulous glee at my amazing luck.  Ten bucks wouldn't even cover the cost of the material. Smiley

He's so great!  He really looks like Hobbes, too!  I've always wanted to make a Hobbes, but like how he looks when he's just being a toy, like this, minus the Hawaiian shorts:

Someday...
