I have a big project I would like to try to finish for Christmas, but I always seem to have a hard time finishing things like this, but I know she would love it!  I need some motivation, so is anyone else interested in doing a Holiday stitchalong with me?

I really wanted to do something along these lines, even used DL to come up with a pattern, but then I picked up a pattern for some giraffes that I'd like to give to my mom for Christmas, so I've been working on that....a lot.

Would more people be interested in this stitchalong if it encompassed all Christmas presents that are to be cross stitched?

I'd do it (holiday gift stitchalong).

And if I ever manage to finish this giraffe stitching project, I'd do the crest. Smiley

I know what it is like having too many projects going!  Do it all the time myself...just need the motivation of others working with me.

Most of my cross stitch projects are Christmas themed.  (I can stand cutesy/crafty looking stuff - to an extent - for Christmas decorations. It's harder to find everyday x-stitch designs that I like, so 90% are for Christmas).  I'm working on a pretty big one right now and I really want/NEED to get it done before I have the baby or it may not get finished for years.

I've been dying to join a stitchalong recently, but I just don't have enough time because I need to finish so many big projects before November.  I'm definitely interested in this one.  And since I already don't have time for all the projects I want to do, I'd love to get some more ideas Smiley

I think embroidery or cross stitch would get the most people.  and anything that has to do with Christmas would be okay too, like stitching decorations or making presents to give at Christmas.

Hey!  If people are still doing this, I am interested!  In fact, I have 2 stitching projects I am working on for Christmas gifts.  I'll post them as I finish them!

I have three projects I am finishing up for Christmas.  One is posted here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=135109.0

The other two are almost done.  One is a toddler t-shirt that says, "I'm going to be a Big Brother", for my friend that will tell her family she's pregnant with #2 like that.  And the other is an onesie that says, "Who needs Santa when you've got Grandparents".  I will post when finished!  Both are from Jenny Hart's patterns.  LOVE her stuff- you can think of endless projects for Christmas...
