OK I could not get my cat pics on my blog (blogger is rejecting my pics) so I thought I would put them here for my partner Smiley
Plus I just like showing off my fur babies  Grin

Ok this is Pooky (but we mostly call him Little Kitty)
He is the one I call the devilin a fur coat.  Wink
He is loud and obnoxious but he gives great kitty kisses.
He loves to play and if you are not careful he will attack your feet while you are asleep with teeth and nails  Shocked
Trust me it is not fun being awakened out of a deep sleep witha cat wrapped around your foot drawing blood <ouch>

This is my pride and joy. My heart and my love.
This is Gary!! He is my fat black baby boy. (he is also in my avatar)
He "found" my sister one day...she opened he door and this poor little skinny kitty came waling in like he owned the place.
Well she already had 4 cats so she was gonna take him to the pound  Cry
So I sais no I will take him ....well hubby did not want a cat so I brought him home and since he was so scared he satyed hidfor like 2 days. So it was not until day 3 that myhubby had a skinny black kitty come jump in his lap and start loveing on him. He yelled for me and said.."Where did this cat come from?" I just said "What cat? I don't see a cat!" lol
Any ay the rest is history.
He now is over 20 pounds of love  Grin

So there are my kitties...and they are happy to meet you too  Wink

Just a little friendly reminder to everyone: be sure to "kitty-proof" your stuff. Make suren there are no strings or small things that cats could potentially chew off and swallow. That's definitely something you don't want from this swap -- a sick kitty and a $1500 vet bill for surgery.

I just foudn this great little blurb about cat toys.
How to pick them and how to make sure they are safe

Toys. Many common household items make great cat toys. Ping-Pong balls are fun to chase. Or you can make a "mouse house" by cutting a hole in the bottom and the side of a paper bag; flick a wad of paper inside the bag and watch your cat ingeniously fish it out.

Avoid string, ribbon, or rolls of yarn. Cats' barbed tongues make it difficult for them to spit anything out once they begin to swallow it. Besides the potential for choking, string can cause serious problems if ingested.

When buying commercial cat toys, pick one that you could give to an infant. There should be no parts that can come off and be swallowed. Keep small children's toys away from cats. Contrary to the myth that cats only eat what's good for them, toy soldiers have found their way into cats' digestive tracts.

Just to clear up any confusion - on the first page, the person on the left is sending to the person on the right. You will be receiving from a different person than you are sending to.

And thanks for reminding everyone about cat safety! I'm a huge stickler for making sure toys and collars and everything is kitty-proof.

"Cats only eat what's good for them" - I wonder what quack made that phrase up!!  Roll Eyes Obviously someone who never owned a cat.

ohh yes. and a word to the wise- keep flavored dental floss somewhere your cat can't get to. I used to toss it in the trash when I was done using it, and I had a cat fish it out of there once and swallow it.... Needless to say, he wasn't happy when it was coming back out, and neither was my mom who had to fish it back out.

I saw a card once that said "You know its easter...When green pplatic grass comes out the cats azz"

 Roll Eyes

Its sad because its true.

Gary looks just like my hunny Billy!  except Billy outweighs Gary by 5 pounds (hides face in hands embaressed)  He is HUGE.

Sad day today though he has an ear infection and sinus infection!  Poor baby was lying prone on me rubbing myhair with his paws wanting me to rub his sore ear and rub his sore face!  When I went to leave (he has a vet appointment at 5:20 for another check-up) he ran toward the door going "NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

I was so bummed.  But my hubby took of work and is sitting at home on the bed with him playing gamecube while Billy naps.

He is SO SPOILED!
