I'd love to get to know more crafty people from around this area.  I'm sure there are some of you who would as well.  So who are you?  What's your main craft interest?  Do you have a shop/ blog/ website?  I'll start...

I'm Alene.  I'm from Hamilton and plan to go to George Brown in September for the Jewellery Methods Program.  My blog and etsy shop are listed below. I've been working a lot with resin lately, I also like to work with PMC and sterling silver. I also knit on occasion.

I'm Shelley and I'm more in the Stoney Creek area (barely). I moved to the Hamilton area a year ago from further north. I've been inactive in crafts for a bit with the chaos of the move and other factors, but I'm pretty eclectic in my interests, doing drawing, painting, calligraphy, embroidery, sewing, metal foil tooling, beading, and anything else I can get my hands on. I've taken one summer course on silver casting (several years back) and enjoyed it immensely but haven't been able to pursue it previously - but now you folks have me interested in George Brown! Alas, I have no shop/blog/website I'm afraid.

Hollow Shel:  Mohawk College in Hamilton (the Wentworth campus) has evening courses for jewellery & silversmithing that I would recommend if you would like to further pusue that interest.  I got my start with silver there.
