ok, this is my first post showing off something I've made. I've made quiet a few record purses and I was tryto figure out how to make a matching wallet. so I got the thinking... and this is what I came up with. My very cute record checkbook wallet. it has 2 pockets to hold my checks and cash and all that. I think it looks cute, so I thought I'd show it off to all of you.

Feed back would be great, thanks for looking.

I've seen bowls made out of records before (I think you melt it in an oven a bit or something), but I've never seen a wallet, purse, or the like made out of one. great idea.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

woah! so cute! and original! did you heat the record itself or did you heat a knife to cut it?

ive done things similar and i dont have a dremel, i just used a candle and a needle (heated needle goes through vinyl like a hot knife through butter).
you just have to use a big enough needle, and not one your too fond of. it gets kinda gunky after a while but you can burn it off, it just smells funny.

very nice wallet btw
