holy crap that is so freakin cool. and just last week I stood staring at bins of cassette tapes from the likes of the grateful dead, 70's classic rock compilations, etc. all at least 25-ish, years old all for 5 CENTS EACH. I couldn't think of a use for them on the spot so I walked away..

I wonder if you could just make a basic tote bag outta fabric and use the holes in the cassettes as glorified buttonholes?

Like, place a button on the outside of the tape, and then sew the button onto the fabric. Since it'd be a little looser, I'm sure itd make more sense to use embroidary thread. And then you wouldnt really have to worry about the tapes falling off cause they'd be able to move.

...I think I gotta hit up the thrift store.
