I love this magazine! This is the second FO I've made from it...

I used some recycled cotton from a thrift store sweater that was much easier than most recycled cotton because it was NOT made of 10 little tiny loose plies!! It *is* a plied yarn, but it acts like a single; you almost have to make an EFFORT to split it.  A nice change from most cotton.

Here's another shot:

It ended up being a little wide for me because my gauge was a bit off, but it fit my sister (who's modelling it) perfectly so it's hers now!! (And she was SO excited to get it too.. I love people who appreciate hand-knits!)

If I were to make this top again, I'd make the waistbands shorter and then put in some increases in the bottom and top panels to make more waist shaping. Other than that, I love it. The instructions were nice and clear, and it was a quick knit (2 weeks, with several other projects going on at the same time).

It looks great.  I really like the V-neck & waist pattern detail.

I love it! I made Molly Ringwald from that issue and this was my second choice for a project.

That is truly a beautiful colour!  Wonderful job.
That mag is the very best issue of any knitting mag I've ever seen!  The amount of great projects I've seen people make from it is astounding.  Yours is the first Camisa I've seen.  In the mag it was more of a second-tier project for me, but seeing yours makes me want to make one for myself Smiley
