Thanks, everyone! This design has a pretty simple silhouette, so it's perfect for tweaking to fit your particular curves. I love the top-down-ness of it, so you can try it on as you go, and that there was almost no finishing to do at the end!

goodkarma -- as everyone else has already stated, i love your neckline.  i wish i had knitted mine after you had finished yours.  i just wore mine the other day and the only complaint i had about mine was the neckline was too high -- i kept pulling at it.  i love your square neckline and the color is gorgeous.

In row two when it tells you to "knit into the knit stitches", is that just a normal knit?

I am not sure about your question Isolde Darling, I am trying to find it in the pattern........
Are you talking about the instruction "Knit into the knit stitches and the yarn over loops, and Purl into the purl stitches."
I think that you are correct, it sounds to me like the instructions to ribbing k2p2, when you turn you keep the stitches that look knit, knit and the ones that look purl purled...... Because this lace is knit in the round, you have no row of purling back like you would on a shawl or something like that, so this row of knitting plain and in pattern give the extra length.
