I was planning to make a felted clutch, after seeing all the lovely felted things around.

Unfortunately I knitted the main piece only to learn that I should have used pure wool instead of synthetic yarn for the felting to work.

It's still very cute, even if it can't be felted.  Nice job on the lining!

Yes I passed jewelry wire on either side to see what it would look like.
I forgot to mention that the handle was crocheted and I still need to put some sort of snap in.

Looks great!! You could always get one of those magnetic snaps for totes and purses. But, You'd probably have to undo a few inches of the lining for that to work.
