Here's where we can all show off our lovelies!  Original Handspun Swap thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=105582.0

And, amazingly, I was the first to recieve!  Brava knitwit!  I think she wins the speed-demon spinning award Wink

Isn't it gorgeous?  I'm definitely making armwarmers for this fall from this!  Oh, specs: 4oz 100+ yards of merino/targhee/ ramboullet

eek! I have such anxiety about this swap. I hope my partner likes what I sent.
Knitwit that skein is beautiful! Fyberduck is lucky. Those will be some incredible armwarmers.

I'm not worthy! *bowing in Wayne's world fashion* I'm not worthy!

I received from magnoliacoffee and I feel like I must now run over to my wheel and try to spin lots of amazing stuff for her. We both agreed to spin a skein or two. I spun up 220 yards and sent it off. I received over 300 yards of gorgeous yarn!

I feel like mine wasn't enough now! Ahh! Swapping could seriously give me a heart attack from anxiety. Thanks so much I love it! The colors are so pretty. Kind of muted. Makes me think of watercolors.

Let me know if you guys do another swap!  I'm a bit of a novice spinner but I'd like to get back into it and I have some gorgeous roving that's not really in my colours.

Ah, the joys of swapping anxiety (you get to know it well, sadly).  There should be a pill or something for it Wink

Beautiful yarn, magnoliacoffee!

My yarn from fyberduck arrived! Here are the stats: Pink yarn is 70/30 merino/silk 1.5 oz and about 50 yards. The mixed skein in the middle is romney + 1.5 oz and about 45 yards. The brown yarn is 2.8 oz and over 100 yards. It's baby alpaca! Did I score or what?

I am beyond excited and thrilled to have these! I think they go very well together and may use them in the same project. Any ideas? I hope if people knit with their swap yarns they post the pics of those too. I will!

Thanks fyberduck for the lovely yarn and for organizing this swap. This was my first swap and now I am totally hooked!

I was thinking that. I was so excited yesterday that I started a kind of skinny scarf in a basket weave stitch with the light pink/yellow skeins that I received. The yarn is so pretty by itself I didn't want anything fancy that would distract from the yarn.

Fiberduck the stuff you sent is so pretty. I really like the brown. Mmm alpaca...
