This Friday, 8/11/2006, new member knit jaime knit and I are meeting up at Breaking New Grounds in Portsmouth NH at 5:30. We'll be knitting there for about an hour or so - so come on down!

I think I'll keep adding to this thread by doing a little wrap up of each meeting.

On 8/23 we had four members instead of two! Hurray - one week and we've already grown. knit_jaime_knit invited her friend Emma and her super cutie son Micah, Kristin aka http://ravenscanary.livejournal.com/ showed up as well and it was good times had by all, except for a little frustration with my project Do not be afraid to take it apart!

I think that Jaime and I have decided that we are going to make the Portsmouth SnB a bimonthly event, one weeknight, one weekend day - to try and accomodate everyone's schedules. When we figure out what the schedule is going to be I'll announce it here!

Hey all! The next meeting is Sunday 9/17 at 10:30 at my house. I'll supply the coffee, and feel free to bring along goodies. Knit_jaime_knit and I will be discussing/scheduling meetings for the future so that everyone can plan ahead of time. Woo-hoo for a regular NH stitch n' bitch!

Hey all -

The next meeting is next Sunday morning, 10:30 at my house. PM me for directions. I'll provide the coffee and something sweet. Bring additional foodlike goodies if you wish!

knit_jaime_knit and I decided last time that we'll have regular meetings on the first Tuesday of the month and third Sunday of the month. The Tuesday will be an evening to accomodate all of you day workers, and Jaime will most likely host in downtown Portsmouth. The Sunday will be mornings hosted at my apartment in North Hampton to accomodate night shifters like me

Please come out NH knitters - we've been having so much fun!

I'm a dance teacher and I just got finished with end of the year dance show craziness. I'd love to get together soon!

I would love to come to something like this in the area! my boyfriend and i regularly go to breaking new grounds, he reads or works on his writing and i work on mine or knit/crochet. my friend jen would be down too!
