I've been sewing for a couple years now... I've sewn lots of stuff over time... purses, Halloween costumes, pillows, toys, a skirt, a shirt... But this is the first dress I've completed, and the most wearable item of clothing I've made, so I'm pretty psyched!

I used Simplicity 3867 but changed a couple things. You can read more about the pattern/process in the Sewing Pattern Review thread, here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=226987.0

Cute!  I love the contrast between the sweet dress and the mildly creepy fabric---it's fantastic.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

I need to just go and get that pattern already.  It looks so cute on you that it is hard to resist making my own
