I have a big ole' ripple blankie started from thrift store yarns...I have moved this year and it is still in a box waiting to be worked on.  I have a few things to get to this week and will try and have it out by the weekend.  Maybe even a pic!  Thanks for letting me lurk...the ripple is calling....=]

I started this one in some blue tones and purples that I had lying around and I think I hate it.  I was planning on making the stripes wider as it moved to the center and then back to narrow on the other end.  I don't know if I am going to make it.  It is very very wide and I am not crazy about the color right now.

Any thoughts?

Sassycat..I like your colors, too, but if you want to experiment...go for it!!  Try your stripe idea w/dark color of your choice...go for bold!  Just my two cents!  =]

Lady Leitzen...love to do the 'star' ripples...would love to see pics and color choices!!

And here is my ambitious work:  found in moving box:

I have quite a ways to go...luckily I have found quite a bit of yarn for it!  I didn't stitch on it...yet!
