You all, I have seen these slippers in person, they are absoultely awesome! craftyminx (with out revelling her real name), is a very talented crocheter and knitter.

oh wow, once i finish up Xmas presents, i must make a pair of these for myself....these are so adorable, and i love Hello Kitty.

i'll make sure to write down all the directions in this thread for making the ears, i've never made triangles before.

I just remembered to find that ear pattern. here it is...
I used the Lion brand jiffy yarn for mine so for the ears I doubled the yarn like I did for the bottom sole and used an I hook.

Ch 6
row 1- hdc in 2nd ch from end, hdc to end. (4 stitches)
row 2- Ch 2 turn, 2 hdc2tog (put the last stitch in the turning chain to keep a straight edge)
row 3- Ch2 turn, hdc2tog (put last stitch in the turning chain as before)
end and weave in the ends.

I hope that makes sense and works out. If not tell me. I'm just copying what I wrote down in my book. (It could be complete gibberish)

Thank you thank you thank you. The slippers have been sitting in a bag waiting to be finished. I'll try it next wk after midterms (ugh).

That slipper is sooooooo cute!  I want to make one for everyone I know....though, I don't think the boyfriend would quite appreciate them like I would  Grin
