woohoo! i'm the first one to post in the gallery!

i received the MOST gorgeous gifts from GougeAway today.
they arrived all wrapped up like REAL presents!


here's the scrumptious body scrub which smells divine and will go to great use with my dry skin.


AND, in all its beauty, the shadow box:

i gasped when i opened this. it is totally my style and so well done.

oh yeah, there was a giant lollipop too that got crunched in the mail  , and then crunched by me!

I got totally, utterly spoiled by KristyGuna today. These incredible fabrics were waiting for me when I got the mail. There are four beautiful brocades---two of them are actually from China!  And some gorgeous fat quarters for me to play with.

Here's the pretty bundle:



The brocades. There are two with cherry blossoms, one is pink, the other a pretty light purple. The black one, and the purple paisley are from China.


 
And these cheerful fat quarters. Some of them have shiny gold details on them.

 
(for some reason I am having a problem getting a picture of the fat quarters to show up here. This thumbnail sized one is the only thing that will show up. If I figure out why, I'll edit this post and put a better picture of them here later on)

I am so glad you like your birthday gift, k8kre8s!  I wrapped it up  because I know just how fun it is to rip paper off of something for your birthday, right?!?

Well, I am super excited because I received my package from sonjaboo, and it is absolutely amazing, more than I could have ever expected.

I can't believe I hadn't found this thread yet! The birthday presents so far are so wonderful! It makes me hope that my birthday girl likes her present, I wish I could have sent more.

Hmmmm--love body scrubs!  The shadow box is really lovely and would look good anywhere!! Hey, one thing good about candy--we don't care what it looks like--it eats the same!! ha ha

Fabric is always a good gift--ha ha--especially for a fabricholic!  You are going to make omiyage? You have to post when you do!!!!

Sonja is secretly wanting to make us all chubby--look at that candy!!
k8kre8s--do you have any of your altered books posted or are you just getting into them? I received a DIY kit for ATC's and it included a lot of "stuff" and papers--I was thinking of making an altered book to hold my ATC's that I trade--not sure where or how to start!!!

Nice job ladies--and no need for anyone to get swap anxiety in this swap!!!  A birthday gift is a gift from the heart here!!

I am having camera troubles at the moment (took all my pics last night and now it's not loading onto the 'puter...ugh.)  But I wanted to post that I received from the very talented susanab a few days ago-- she sent me a beautiful fabric headband, fabulous fabric cuff, and a button with my address/map location on it!   I love everything susanab!  Thank you so much and I promise I will load pics as soon as I can!   

Gougeaway, I am so glad you enjoyed your package!  It was fun finding all the candy... I had a hard time sending the pop rocks away... I do enjoy a good pop rock!     lol  And I hope you post pics of your book when it is done!  I'd love to see it!

Look at these beautiful Kanzashi pins SonjaBoo made for me! I love them all! She did a fantastic job on picking out colors that I love.
