What to do with old floppy disc?

The office that I work at just moved office buildings and in the moving process many floppy disc we found and thrown away.  Well, me being me i couldn't stand to see things just thrown away so I snatched a pack of multi-colored floppy disc.  Now here's the problem...I have no idea what to do with them. I saw that someone made a pencil holder and someone else made a notebook out of floppy disc but I was wondering if all you out there in crafty land could help me think of some other ideas.  I only have about 24 disc so I not sure what I could make but I just can't bring myself to throw them away.  Anyway thanks for all your help and thanks for reading my crazy long question.

You could make little clocks and give them as gifts, maybe doing something so they can stand up on a desk, or you could arrange them in some kind of pattern and make a bigger wall clock.

Oooooh! The standing clock is great!!

Glue the little sliding metal piece down on the front, then bend the back of it so it will sit up!

Coasters too...but that's not as cool I think...

Wow I never would of thought of making them into clocks! Thanks! And I really like the coaster idea too (I am in desperate need of coasters) Do you think that I need to do anything to the discs before setting drinks on them?  Thanks again!

Maybe just take off the paper label if there is one on it, the perspiration from the drinks would probably stain that. Other than that, they are just plastic, so you should be okay.

i'm thinking these are the little floppys. but if you have any of the really big floppys, I read in my DIY book that they make the perfect CD holder... much more interesting than a jewel case.

In your office you can link them together like a mat and hang them on your wall as decor.  It would be really pretty with the multi color.  You know what I'm talking about? Like how some people have the plastic cd cases in a mat like form hanging on their wall with the cd's in them?

In the Geek swap on this site (somewhere) there is a pretty cool box made by putting six of them together. You could leave off the lid and make a pencil holder, or use 10 and make a long pencil box.
