This is Vogue 2900, DKNY dress.  I believe that this dress was part of the DKNY Spring 2005 collection even though I couldn't find a picture of it.  The same fabric that was used on the bias cut version on the pattern envelope is also used in that collection.

i looked it up on the voguepatterns website...it is *so* much better on you. with the way it looks in the vogue pictures, i would never have given it a second look--the models wearing it make it look like just a boring dress. but the dress you made, and the way you wear it, is so pretty and classy! (the shoes are cute too).
