those are sooooo cool....i took 3d design in high school, which was a metal-working class....and i'm familiar with the investment, burn out the wax, then cast metal method....but to add the crocheting?? wow i'm impressed!!! so creative!!!

I hope the designer of the rings doesn't mind me mentioning that there are places that specialize in metal casting and will cast in metal things you sculpt out of wax or other medium that would melt in a kiln, like the nylon cord covered in wax. Sometimes it can be pricey but it's worth it for custom metal jewelry without having to own a kiln, centrifuge or know how to cast.  Wink

I'm in a Metalworking class right now, and these are really cool.  I wanted to play around with crocheting metal wire, but this is cool too!!
