Having a mommy-body I don't often feel like I rock my clothes, but I sure rock this one! 

My 13 year old sister and 15 year old brother took the pics, we were amusing ourselves.   They think I am a bit of a dork, but secretly I know they love it!

Well, I am 5'8", so not too tall...

The shirt just hugs me in the right places, I suppose!

It's like that one of those ladies from those 'what are you wearing' shows said once....something like "That shirring is good for those ladies that have a little extra around the middle, cause people won't know whether the bulk that they see is the fabric or your pudge"!

It is flattering on me, though.  My lil' sis said she thinks it makes me look uber skinny!

Anyway, the top looks great. When we finally move interstate and have unpacked & renovated (you know, 10 years from now), I'll really have to give it a go - might sew instead of fusible web though - I just don't trust it with a stretch fabric (knowing my luck, I'd be somewhere very public with both hands occupied when it decided to give way)

Okay, now you guys are all just pulling my chain, right?  You ARE joking, aren't you?  Other than the fact I have childish and dopey expressions on my face, I do look old enough to have kids!  See in the photos (some of them) how their seems to be a highlighted streak across the top of my head?  That is GREY hair!  I have 2 kids...I am 38 years old!!!!

Okay, not really.  But I will be turning 30 at the end of this year.  Actually, I believe I will opt to turn 29 AGAIN. 

Oh, and BTW, I wore this to church yesterday, with my 3year old daughter in one hand, my 8month old in his car seat, a gift for a friend, my purse, AND the diaper bag.  Even with all of that picking up, twisting, reaching, etc.  I remained covered!  One tiny tip for keeping those bra straps covered: I don't have a racer back style bra (where the straps cross in the back), so to keep my straps from peeking out, I took 3 safety pins and attached them together.  Then I hooked one pin AROUND one strap in the back and the other end of my pin chain (the 3rd pin) around the other bra strap.  It squeezes your straps together!  A little of a cheat for you guys who don't have a bra extender thingy or a convertible bra.
