Hi all, I have found this thread to be so inspirational. My craft room had pretty much become the "cr*p" room, and was virtually unuseable. I am now about 3/4 of the way through, and it feels so great to know that I can use this space again! I don't have progress pics, but here are the "before" pics.... i'll post again when it's all finished!

Just found this thread, and I think it will help me get tidier! Prob going to be a longterm cleaning/organizing project, has taken me 3 months to get it like this !

OMG Im so happy to know its not only me who is messy and a hoarder!
I didnt know about this thread before i started tidying my craft room, but now i know where to find inspiration next time we get to that point where i can see no floor (cos we all know it will happen again! )

Ok, I am reeeeally jealous right now. I have a 3 bedroom home that is 850 squares. So you figure, living room, nursery, his office, our bedroom, bath and kitchen. Can you visualize just how bad this is?

My crafting stuff is, GULP, in bins in our basement! TOTALLY HORRIBLE!

I need to find a way for this living room to serve as my office and my craft room.

Man... I just got all of my stuff moved into my new apartment. My craftroom is also going to be our guest bedroom... two weeks ago, this room was stuffed with about 30 boxes, this is what it looks like now and I can't say that the rest of my apartment looks any better:
You can kinda see the bed under all the mess ^_-

One shelving unit with fabric and sewing supplies... the nice china at the bottom will be finding a permanent home elsewhere, but not sure where yet:

I can't wait to get it cleaned up so I can start making the curtains for all the rooms! Plus I have tons of xmas crafting to get done!

I had all of mine on hand,  I just wasn't using them. I added the shelves above my desk and the big white cube shelves

OMG i was just about to post about his but i was really embarrassed to show my mess but im desperate! im glad im not alone! i feel so relieved. and i totally understand what everyone says, i have to stop making stuff to clean but i dont. im going to do it, right now because i keep losing stuff. im sending out an SOS....








my daughter grabs everything so im trying to put the dangerous stuff out of reach because i know its impossible to lock her out. HEEEEELLLLPP my haven has become a dungeon.
