I agree the flattened can idea is a great one (and to be careful Tongue).

I'm a home-maker show watching freak so I've seen that even painting the paneling can make such a big difference in a room.
And you can gain additional storage under your bed - provided there is room- with the flat "sweater" storage boxes. Then they are easy to pull out and access things. I am all about storage. Smiley

I totally relate to your room though - that was definitely mine about 5 years ago. Tongue

Poke a hole in the bottom of the cans and string them up around the room, then you can have your shelf back.

Hehe. So..the "sweater boxes" youre talking about..
Can you make out the box underneath my bed?
Is that what you're talking about?

I wonder if you could turn those cans into lights. You know like cut a hole, drop in one of those lights to light those glass Christmas houses and mount it. IS that safe?

Oh! I can just make them out now! Guess you are a step ahead of me. Grin
Perhaps you should go the route of "everything in its place (and the rest shoved under the bed)". Grin
Good luck with the room cleanup!!

How does one hang a shelf bracket upside down when its way over there head? I cant seem to get the shelf up at all. Ive been beaned by it 3 times in the process of trying. Im worried im gonna break the window. I promised you before photos so here they are
Ugly ceiling fan
my head board (and mess)
my big desk
my little desk
little desk better pic
and last but not least the bookcase
My problem is my craft area must fit into my bedroom area. Lets see if it looks any better at the end of the day.

I LOVE this thread. Haven't visited it for a while though, so I am going through the whole thread again. I am at page 25 now.  Cheesy So, how is it going for all of you who dared to post pictures of your craft areas? and I would love to see more pictures from people willing to take on the challenge.  Cheesy

The reason I came back to have a look at the thread is that my bf and me are right now cleaning up our crafting room. We are doing it thoroughly this time, creating a storage system that will actually work... we hope. This is taking days! maybe weeks! The room used to be a total mess! I promise to post pictures when we are done.  Smiley

I've been inspired, but procrastinating.  I'm not totally finished, but am at a point that I feel OK posting:
