ooo - everyone has such nicely painted walls!!

you ladies are kicking ass on the cleaning front.

I finally got the bed outta my craft room - so hopefully after the boy is finished painting my blackberry I can start stirring up the dust again and get the room straightened out.

Congrats one every one making progress!!

I am so jealous of those of you with an IKEA close by! The closest one to me is 4 hours away in Atlanta.

Geeze between basement envy and now Ikea jealousy I'm pretty darn tragic!  Wink

Hey....does anyone use a "shed" for their crafty goodness?  That is also something I considered doing.  There are some spacious and NICE sheds available! I saw a two story one at home depot this weekend!

I'll see your 4 hours and raise you 16 hours away in Edmonton.  It sucks.  But Yeah I  am going this weekend.  HA HA HA!

No, but after...was it in readymade?... the article about the girl with a jewelry studio in an Airstream, THAT"S what I want!!

Oh that would ROCK! Now I want an airstream!

Ikea- My husband and I went to NC for vacation last summer (2005) and noticed that a hurricane was headed toward our house so we left a day early.  However, that didn't stop me from insisting  on stopping at Ikea in Atlanta on the way home!  We stuffed our car as much as humanly possible...I literally had to hold baskets the whole way home!

i think that i win.  i OFFICIALLY have the cleanest craft room.

it's a shot of my new house!  if all goes well by the end of the week i'll be crafting HERE instead of on my dining room table in my crappy apartment!

FOUR bedrooms. . .and that means i get at least ONE all for my crafting!  before long i can be the proud owner of a messy craft room!

exciting!

THANKS, now we are REALLY jealous!  All I have is 1/2 my dining table and the sideboard for my crafting....which has to be cleaned up for everyone to eat each night!
Sigh.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

That's awesome!

I use our kitchen table that opens to double its size and I have a folding 8 foot craft table I use.  I typically use one for messy things (covered in plastic) and one for sewing and such.

Murphy bed with a table combo! That way it can be used as a guest room in a pinch!

Actually.....I just wont SOMEONE to get a murphy bed and tell me how it worked for their craft room!  Undecided

The really sad thing about my craft room, is that none of the furniture was bought for my craft room.....It is all hand me down discards from other rooms, or even other peoples houses.
*sigh*
Someday I am going to snub some other room in my house and get nice stuff.
