so i've run to you guys, since you're all a creative bunch

i'm into filmmaking. and i really want to make a film, and get some more experience with filmmaking, for the local youth film festival down here in April. but at the moment (it must be the heat!) my brain is completely dry of ideas.

do you guys have any ideas? it doesnt matter what type of film it is.

oh, and this one won't be the one entered. even if it was i'd give you credit though

thanks guys.

My friend and I always think of ideas for short films, but most are nutty.  One of my ideas was to film someone just finishing taking a shower and drying off. The unique thing about the film would be that it would consist of watching someone naturally dry, in real time or sped up, while standing there.  Only one camera needed. It sounds boring, to watch a naked person dry, but could be interesting if sped up.

I have another idea for a short film of a frustrated guy and his adventures in a parking garage.  All he wants to do is park his car and take the garage elevator (because the stairs are locked) down to the store.  Several things get in his way.. nasty fellow drivers, slow, broken elevators that go to the wrong floor. Etc. 10 minutes later, our hero makes it down to the store only to find that it has closed.

AHAHA, wow that second one is great, i might do that one Smiley
thanks !
i actually thought up two ideas though, one is just a guy waiting for his girlfriend at a restaurant in the waiting line - you know how boring those can be, right? but theres all these annoyances around him as he waits - screaming kids, snoring grandpa, etc...
and the second one is just one about karma, a girl loses a twenty dollar bill in a store, some guy picks it up and does something bad or selfish with it like buy something for himself, and then it continues, and then it shows if he did it the "good" way, like donating it. lol.
might sound lame, but i promise its not!

much love
