I love how this looks.  You did a great job.

I got the pattern and I'm thinking of trying it in a crisp white. This could be fun.  thanks for the inspiriation - been needing some fun since I finished my last shrug.  there has to be some unsuspecting young person out there who needs one of these.

Thanks for the kudos.  Oooooh...crisp white sounds lovely.  It really is a quick and fun pattern to whip up.  LOL...whoever that "unsuspecting young person" is, she doesn't know it yet but she's one lucky girl!  LOL!  Grin

OH, I LOVE IT! Thanks for fixing the pic links, it was worth it! Cheesy  I like it BETTER than the one on the Moda Dea site with the pattern!  That one has the front lace overlapping, which was a concern. Yours is BEAUTIFUL! I am DEFINITELY making this. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

EDIT: Sorry, one question. I just read in your comment here that it stretches quite a bit. My mother is a 36D bra size (sure she'd love me announcing that, lol) and I'll be using LB Cotton Ease (in Charcoal, just FYI, not that it matters for gauge)...do you recommend I make the Medium size as well?

You're very welcome and thanks so much for the wonderful compliments.  As for the question about the sizing...unfortunately I'm not too familiar with LB's Cotton Ease so I don't know if it has a lot of "give" or not.

Seeing as it is a cotton yarn I'd be worried about possible shrinkage in the wash but on the other hand, I think this bolero looks much prettier when it fits snuggly rather than a looser fit so maybe you could stick to the Medium size but just go up a hook size or two?

Sorry I can't be of more help...hope I made sense.  Also, my sister's a 36C bra size if that helps you figure out the sizing.  My sister's going to be just as thrilled as your mother that I announced her bust size too...LOL!

If you have any more questions feel free to ask I'll try my best to help out.  Cheers!

Thanks again, jienee. Of course, I emailed the pic of it to my mother before I started working on it (tomorrow) and she just replied that it does not cover the stomach so it's not really good. And here I thought the angle of the ruffle would create a slimming line, though it doesn't cover the stomach directly. ANNOYING...I really wanted to make it for her. Nonetheless, I appreciate your help.

I too am totally upset that they are taking the servers down to fix things. Why can't they just let things stay broken? I don't care if I can't move due to lag or if quests are bugged. If I leave my room my mom may make me get a job.
