I was hoping, oh soooo hoping that this would be cute. It looked so cute on the model...all bobbly and kinda mod.  And I've been needing a shell for work because I'm all stocked up on nothing but those tanks with the teeny straps that show everyone your bra strap. No big deal if you're just going shopping or to the park, but not in front of my boss, who's also the dean. But all I got for my trouble is a very frumpy top.  Tongue

**ETA**  Thanks so much for all the comments!!  Maybe I'm just being too critical. I made a lot of mods trying to make it suit my shape and wanted it to look like it did on the thin, flat chested model....fat chance lol. I need lots of waist shaping to make sure that all of me doesn't look as big as my chest or I just look like a barrel. Maybe if I try taking it in a bit with my sewing machine, I'll feel less self-conscious about it.

I think it looks nice.  It looks like you did a great job too. I have yet to master clothing... mine always come out to be  less than expected.

i think it looks cute.
did you change the neckline on this? i loved the pattern but I look terrible with high necklines, and was thinking a boat neckline like yours would be more wearable.

did you knit it with a lighter weight wool? i seem to remember the 'lace+bobble' section was wider in the mag?
i must say i do like your modification of the neckline - looks very natural

I don't think it looks frumpy, I actually like it better than the one from the magazine.
The bobbles on that one looked like growths.
The color you chose is really pretty.

I think it looks really cute and non-frumpy. Please don't take this as an insult, but I think you need a better (more supportive) bra to wear with it. It would make a world of difference.
