so, this is the first piece i've done that has incorporated chain and heavy gauge wire, not to mention action swarovksi crystals. i made if for my fiancee's mom, who was over and seriously hinting that she wanted me to make her something ("i realllly want a necklace with red beads, but i just can't find one that i like..." or "wow, your crafts would make really good christmas presents..."), and i really like it, so i'm thinking of making myself one in blue. it is based on a pattern from creative wire and beaded jewelry by linda jones, which i just picked up last weekend. hm. the pics are sorta blurry...oh well.

tell me what you think!

if mame was right and life really is a banquet, then i think i'm on a diet...totally against my will.

bloggy goodness

My thoughts:

1.  THe necklace is LOVELY! I particularly like the wirework

2.  Your future MIL is giving you some great "hints" as to how to make her happy. Take the hint. LOL!

3.  You could probably net yourself a book if you mentioned how you'd just love to "borrow" that new book she got..."just for fun"

4.  You will make a great daughter-in-law

Shhhhhhhhh...it's Strictly Top Secret...
