Being Harry Potter obsessed, it seemed only natural that I use one of my own patterns for this challenge!  So here it is, my own paper pieced Goblet of Fire pattern 1.5"x1.5" complete with backing.  The pattern has 36 individual pieces and the pattern is broken into 5 segments Yikes!

The Goblet of Fire is a roughly hewn cup filled with dancing blue flames that turn orange when about to return a Tri-wizard entrant's name.

The Pattern

Sewing one of the center segments.  Man that's small!

Individual segments ready to be pieced

The block is pieced!  Photo from the back!

Finished block next to the original 5" version
(pattern available at Fandom In Stitches )

The finished block, front & center!  All 1.5" of it!

Hope you like it!

Good gracious!  That's really impressive.  You must be really skilled to be able to use the machine for a 1.5 by 1.5 inch piece.  I'm in awe!

Thanks for all the amazing compliments!  I still can't believe there are 36 pieces in this 1 1/2" square!  As it's too small to keep my even my little toe warm, I think I'll turn it into a pin so I can "wear" my quilt!   Cheesy

Don't forget to come back and vote tomorrow!
