how can you get a circle on the fabric, i can never draw a circle even close to good enough...how do you do it?

Sometimes if I'm in a hurry I just put a tack in the center of the fabric and tie a string around that and go around the tack with the string and mark the circle with dress maker chalk.It's especially good for little things like doll clothes.I'm like you I hate math so I'd rather do it the string,tack and chalk way.
