Yesterday, while shopping, I found this at Gina Tricot (a Swedish store, http://www.ginatricot.se).



I did want to buy this cute necklace as well, but it was 99 kronor (about 10 euros), and I could make it myself for free (we have lots of buttons lying around).


 I never thought of this technique. I'm quite sure someone else here did (you're all genius) but I still wanted to share. Every other button is reversed, which seems like a good way to keep them from moving. My explanation doesn't really make any sense, but maybe this photo does?

ill definatly try it later i think it would be a cute choker
i usually dont wear long necklaces so ill just make a choker but its kinda like making pop tab jewelry just with buttons

I've seen this done with Pop Tabs but not with buttons, cool idea!

Is that all one single strand of thread?  It looks a little scary like that - like if you snagged it, they'd all fly off in every direction and roll away forever.  Or am I missing some way they're more security attached to each other?
