This is Norm everyone! He is 2 inches tall.
This is the extent of my sewing. I'm a painter, but I thought I would go out of my comfort zone for this challenge.
His clothing is wool felt, all hand sewn together. His beard is made of yarn and his grey hair is wool. His head is wooden and his body is all wired and wrapped in ribbon, so he is fully posable. I drew on his little face.
This is my first challenge, and I'm so excited to enter it  Cheesy
I hope you enjoy my tiny creation!

Hey Norm!!!  You look GREAT!  You should get your 'MO' to send you globetrotting like the traveling gnome or Flat Stanley and we craftsters can take turns posting pics of your incredible adventures!!!

You should come and visit me first here in good ol' Texas.

Seriously, we could do this!!!  PM me Norm, if you are game.  Anyone breaking the chain of travel will be blacklisted!!!!

Awaiting your reply,
RecycleMicol

Thanks!

And RecycleMicol, that's a great idea. I'm considering making more, and women gnomes as well. They are a good size to travel by envelope. It would be fun to see him in all sorts of craftster's homes and towns. Like a crafty version of Amelie!
