This is another random idea I just had. What about a verb swap? Everybody picks a verb and their partner has to craft a big package full of items that connect to or assist with that verb. I could imagine some really cool packages for some verbs....

FLY:
a pair of wings, a bird design t-shirt, a kite, something with an angel on it, a paper airplane kit....etc.

SING:
something modge-podged with sheet music, bird stationary, a knitted "throat warmer," a microphone pincushion....etc.

JUMP:
a recipe for "Hoppin' John," a pogo stick t-shirt, a handmade jump rope, something with a pair of jumper cables on it, a grasshopper ring....etc.

Anybody interested in heading this up? I'm just throwing the idea out there. I'm far too intimidated to lead a swap.

That's an incredible idea, and I really love it.  I'd be interested in participating.  If...um...I get my post count up to 15 by then.  I guess I'll have to stop lurking so much. Roll Eyes

This is why I love this board so much - such creative ideas to spark our craftiness. I'm just off my first swap and I'm lurking around to see what else is out there. I'll keep an eye on this one.
