If any of you have done this pattern, I need help!!  In Vogue Knitting's Spring /Summer 2006 issue, there's a advertorial section with a crocheted "Lacy Poncho".  I have done the yoke, and I can't figure out Round 7 of the body  Cry  I've tried it twice, but I had to frog the couple of rounds I did, after and including round 7.  I'm completely lost here.  And this is a summer poncho that I was hoping to already be wearing!! Ha ha.  I checked the website for an errata, but they didn't have one.  I emailed the magazine, and tahki stacy-charles, but no help.  So, if anyone can provide some suggestions or knows what to do, please help!!

Thank you!

Staysik--

Nancy and I reviewed the pattern in the book and in our advertorial, but we can't seem to find any problems with this pattern. If you are still having trouble with this, please email Nancy (our vp of creative services and EXPERT). She can help you through anything!

you should put my name, Lizzie or Craftster in the re line so she knows its you! You'll get faster response that way. Good luck!

Ok, Here's where I'm stuck: Here's round 6: Sl st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc,sc in next 2 sc [ch 3, sc in next ch- 5 space, ch 3, skip next sc, sc in next 3 sc, skip next sc] 15 times, ch 3 sc in last ch-5 space, ch 3, sl st in beg sc.

Round 7: Sl st in next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc, [skip next sc, ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp, sc in next sc, sc in next ch-3 sp, skip next sc, sc in next sc] 16 times, except omit last sc, instead sl st in beg sc.

My problem is that I end up only being able to do the sequence a few times before I'm back to the beg sc (rather than the 16 times it calls for).   Maybe I should frog the whole thing and start over! ON round 6, when it says "skip next sc] 15 times", then you go back to the start of the parenthesis and ch 3- it seems like skipping a sc to chain 3, then sc in a ch-5 space doesn't make sense.  So maybe that's why I'm having a problem, I dunno..... guess I'll have a fantastic summer poncho for '07 season! Undecided

Thank you ALL for your help and responses!  CRAFTSTER rocks!
