This is my first time entering one of the craft challenges!
Unfortunately I do not have any "making of" pictures, but I hope these will suffice!

I decided to do something relating to this character I created called Mr. Happy Cloud.  This is one of my drawings of him:

Because he's my favorite thing to draw, I wanted him to be my subject for this challenge.  I used a matchbox, a pearl heart bead, glitter, markers, gold pipe cleaners, and beads for the little feet it stands up on, and I made this:

Which measures just about 2".
It's a mini shrine that also doubles as a bulletin board decoration!!!

He sure does make my pocket, and my bulletin board, happier!

Wheeee!!!  Cheesy
Thanks for looking!

He is cute - reminds me of that painter dude that always talked about the happy little clouds.
He would have been proud Wink

Ooooohhhhh....that was William 'Bill' Alexander!  He was so wonderful...and marvelous...and happy!  He used to paint and talk about the 'Almighty trees!'  in an Almighty-sounding way!

I loved him.  Good job on the Happy Cloud!!!

Forgive me for asking...but what is the exclamation mark by this thread for?  Does that mean that it was reported to a moderator?

No!  It just means that I was really excited when I posted this and so felt it was only appropriate for the icon to be an exclamation.  !!!

I thought Bob Ross was the happy clouds guy.

Yes...he said that, too.  But Bill would REALLY get into it...I guess that's why I remember him more.  (He was a short 'round' man who spoke with a German accent.) I found this great tidbit on Wikipedia...

Alexander became known as the "Happy Painter." He later moved with his wife to the mountains of Canada, amid the beautiful landscape he enjoyed painting so much.

Television painter Bob Ross of "The Joy of Painting" was a disciple of Alexander.

Era Vera, I guess that's why they both painted 'happy clouds'!

Okay...no more off topic for me!
