Vincent, the tiny circus clown!

here is my craft challenge entry... Vincent and his Amazing Explode-in-Your-Face Pies!


here's a picture from another angle including his friends Celeste the seal doing her balancing act and Otto the strong man!   

hehe, they're so tiny and fun!  now i want to make a little circus themed chess set... and then i would have to learn to play chess. 

Vincent is made from polymer clay, wire, some yarn and some acrylic paint.  Hope you like it; they were fun to make.

So cute!! The chess set is a really good idea ... I love thinking of ideas for chess sets, although I've never made any. The pawns could be clowns, because there are so many of them ... like all the clowns that come out of the little cars ... Ok, maybe not.

Anyway, nice job! They are so clean-looking and detailed, considering they are so small.

They remind me of a lamp I had when I was a wee little one.

You know, you could make a checkers set instead of chess.  I've always liked checkers and don't have the patience (or memory for all the different moves for different pieces) to learn chess.  You could do 2 different colors for the bases, and maybe give the pieces on top similar color-themes to go with the base. You could do a bunch of different figures for the top, and they'd still match according to the base.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!  Awesomeness!!  I thought it was pretty entertaining when I saw the clown, but the strong man is definately my favourite!!!!!!!!!  So hilarious!!!!!
