It would be a fun part of craftster, well all parts are fun...you know what i mean.  I know I could have a quite a few posts with projects that didn't turn out quite how I expected.  Plus people could give tips on what could have helped.

oooh that sounds good!
disaster projects don't seem so bad if you have someone (or a few thousand someones) to laugh it over with!

this is such a great idea - there was someone on here ages ago who had tried to make something and was just so bummed that she hadn't succeeded first time, because she looked at all the wicked projects posted here and then looked at her own work....  I told her that we all have those pile-in-the-corner projects and it made her feel waaaaay better.

It seems like a lovely, 'community' kind of thing to do as well as a good place to vent and laugh.

Excellent idea.  We can fire up the digital cameras and laugh our buns off.
Also would be a great place for advice and brilliant recovery/conversion stories--with all the crafty people here, I wonder how much actually gets tossed--not much, I'm betting.  Wink

there's a "crafts gone bad" section in the new craftster blog, maybe leah would take submissions for it?

Thanks for this suggestion and thanks for all who weighed in.  I created a board under  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS called "Stitch and BOTCH."
