EDIT: Link to photography tutorial added.

A little something I created. There's a clasp on both the front and the back of the necklace which makes it detachable. It can then be turned into two bracelets—

By all means let me know what you think!

You're also very welcome to read about how I made it at Crafty Like A Fox.

An amateur photographer Smiley. But thank you!

I just recently wrote up a three-part series about taking professional-looking photographs of your jewellery whether it be for posting up in the forums, a blog, or to sell online—

Part 1: Setting up the camera
Part 2: Presentation and display
Part 3: Image manipulation

Hi FORTUNA!

I have just checked your website, and what can I say.... your designs are sooooo amazing! I love all of it, including your articles, and the photography tutorial. Thanks so much for sharing! :-) I am fairly new in the beading arena, and I’m from Malaysia. I make jewelries for myself (so that I wont have to spend tons of money for something I can make myself..) I take inspiration from people like you who not only do their craft well but also take time to share what they know. I thought to myself, when I become a great bead-maker, I’d also put up something like your blog, where I can share my knowledge with the struggling new comers. :-)

By the way, I’m thinking of venturing into gold chain jewelries. Gold-filled chains with some artwork pendants, maybe. (Very much like your victorian necklace here.) Could you recommend a store where it is best to get these chains..sa well as the gold filled findings? I have a sister who works in the U.S., so it wouldn’t be a problem getting them from there. Goodluck to you, and keep sharing! :-)

- SONYA
