Wow - at first I thought, how did you get clay to look so realistic? And then I scrolled down and saw it was real food. Simply amazing!

Holy crap.

Holy crap.

Holy crap.

That's all I could say the whole time I was reading this post, with my jaw hitting the floor.

Amazing.

From one foodie to another, cudos to you girlfriend and hubby!

Quote from my hubby:  "if that was fake, clay or something, it'd just be cool, but by the fact that it's real makes it friggin awesome"

could you share the recipe for the buns?

I am seriously making this tonight for my boyfriend.  He is set up and everything.  He he he...oh I am going to need to recharge the camera to get pictures of his face.

This is actually a good idea for like a party.  Bite Sized burgers, people would really be amazed at this I think.

when i get home i'll pull out the recipe and post it. . .we've made mini burgers for parties before, but nothing THIS small. . it would be pretty labor intensive. . .not to mention that in all the times we've tried, the burgers (and fries, we've done mini fries before, too) get cold so quickly. . but most people don't seem to mind.

That's very very cool! I especially like the tray liner your husband designed. What a team!! How much bigger are the mini burgers you make for parties compared to what you made for this challenge?
