we have previously used store-bought dinner rolls (with sesame seeds, they were hard to find) to make the burgers and once we had our local Whole Foods bakery make the buns from ciabatta dough. . .both times they ended up about four times the size of this one. . .about two bites' worth of burger.

SO cute! I thought it was clay, too. Wow. What a great idea. It's amazing to me how differently people's minds work--creatively.  Cheesy

I thought of Stewart Little, too, when I found out it was food!  Grin

I want to eat that teeny burger!  I KNOW it tasted good since I have had your miniature burgers that were 4x's the size of this little guy.  You two totally rocked this one!  Grin

can you make one with veggie burger? Smiley
I thought about that, too!  Then I realized you if you made my favorite veggie burger--the black bean burger--that small, then you'd probably have to use one black bean!  Not terribly satisfying....

Great idea and great work!  Thanks for showing us!

I've got knitting needles, and I'm not afraid to use them.
