ok I started a scrap blanket an thought I would have enough yarn to do a 9 square by 3 square blanket but I have ran out of yarn now I can't decide if I should add more colors or not my squares are about 11' by 11'

this is the other two colors I have

Should I add the other colors or just go with my 6 squares for a small baby blanket instead of a toddler blanket?Huh??

I don't know that's a tough one.  Have you considered adding a small border around the outside to make it a bit larger?  I like what you do have done, best of luck.

I plan on doing a border around the whole blanket when done......

Keep the colours you have now and make that a centre panel.  Then you have the choice of doing a really thick border around to frame the centre panel and make it to the size you want, or to frame it with squares of a different colour, and then border that.
