I take 2 large metal coffee cans and cut the bottom off of them. I then have DH solder these 2 together.  Take a 3rd can and solder the other 2 to the top of this one.  I paint them or decopage them, put a plastic lid on the bottom and one on the top.  I store my toilet tissue in them.  You can use just 2 and make a matching trash can.

What could I do with a tall-ish, narrow-ish juice drink? Any ideas on how to decorate it? All I can think of is decoupage.  Undecided

Is the juice can glass or metal?  You could paint either one.  I took a glass quart jar that had had mayo in it, spray painted the inside of the jar, decopaged tissue paper on it and put a clear votive candle holder (in the shape of a flower pot) and set it on the top.  Put a candle in it and it is so pretty when lit. Sorry, no picture.  I gave it away.

It is glass. Thank you for the idea of painting the inside. I'm thinking of slowly swirling paint around inside since I don't have spray paint.

I bet that will be pretty!  I've seen the clear Christmas ornaments done like that.  Please let us see it when you get finished.

With the smaller ornaments, I swirled acrylic paints inside and they turned out beautiful.  With a larger vase, I put about 1/4 cup of water inside, sprayed paint onto the water, and slowly turned the vase to let the paint adhere to the sides.  Pour the water out, let it dry, then do another color.  To finish it off paint the inside with gold or silver spray paint, being careful to not get any on the outside of the vase.  They turn out great.  Look at this one....

sorry if someone already said this, but my mom and i made snow globes out of baby food jars one year, i recall it being very messy, but it was cool to personalize them. I'm sure if you looked them up online you could find them. it was kind of neat. if you can't find it i think we have the magazine got it from.
