So, for my friend's birthday I decided to make her t-shirt pants out of this plain green shirt I had lying around. (No before pics, sorry... Just a plain old t-shirt) I had to make a black waistband out of another old t-shirt because they were rather low...
They were too blah so I stencilled a Death Cab For Cutie logo on there... It was my first stencil attempt ever, so be kind.

Notice the potatoes in the background.

Close up of the stencil...

Any comments/suggestions/whatevers would be lovely Smiley

Ahh I love t-shirt to pant recons.  They're quick and always come out pretty darn cute.  Good job on the stencil, too - I never would've guessed it was your first stenciling attempt!   Smiley  I'm sure your friend will love 'em.

Death Cab is one of my favorites....
I really like the idea of making pants out of a tee-shirt.
The stencil is done really well, great first job!!

I'm waking up again and see that war on screen again
And it makes me want to go and hide
This world is full of misery, the anger is too big to see
That's why I had to dream this dream

I just saw your shoes and now I'm even more stunned.  You have a very lucky friend and bunches of talent -- the stencil looks great, I would never had guessed it was your first.  I'm wearing a Death Cab shirt right now and I think if I made a pair of pants similar to these it would really round off my outfit.   Grin
