*shuffles feet, coughs* umm, actually I didn't bead the body. Embarrassed there's actually beads available that look like that already, without further enhancement. I've seen versions where people have done exactly that, either bead-woven or beaded around a larger bead, but I didn't - so can't take credit where it ain't due. Thank you for the compliments though!

Okay. I'll admit... spiders creep me out a bit... but these are amazing!

Rube: You like falling, do ya?
Betty: Well, it's not the fallin', it's the jumpin'.
Rube: I'd feel a whole lot better about the jumpin' if it weren't for the fallin'.
Betty: Fallin's easy, you just fall. Jumping involves strength of will.
Rube: Unless you're on a plank

Cool! I find that it's easier to wrap the leg wires onto the body before I put the beads on.

(Also, um, spiders don't have antennae. Sorry, bug geek here... they also have three main leg segments, if anyone is interested.)

(I'll get my coat...)

I rescued a beaded spider obviously made from this tutorial at a church yardsale over the weekend! I was so tickled to find a bit of craftster right in my own backyard. Smiley
