That's cool muguet, I just would not want to sign up for this swap with the expectation that my partner would have at least *some* idea of what it's like, but then get a partner who only has a twice-yearly bout of the flu.  I understand what you were getting at now, though   Cheesy

Hmmmm...  I will have to think about this one.  I don't get sick often, but when I get sick, I GET SICK!  Maybe I could swap on behalf of my friend.

depression has all kinds of symptoms, both emotional/mental and physical.  I don't see why it shouldn't count.

Ive had depression and let me tell you, it is one of the most dibilitating diseases I have had!!! Anxiety is a big bummer too. Thankfully I have been coping with stresses a lot better (or Im just internalizing them and they are coming out in my stomach!!!)

I just realised that I only gave until the end of the month to craft, would anyone mind an extention into mid September? And that way my partner could send me a birthday card (shameless plug, its on th 24th, you can all send me something Grin)

Oh and Cassia, I LOVE your avitar! It is so cute!!!

i would join but i'm hesitant, if someone crafts about my cancer whatever they make might be a constant reminder of what i have...but also could turn out to be a cheerful kind of uplifting thing...

motorxheart,
One of the reasons that I threw this swap idea out there is because a lot of us out here in craftster land have diseases that are a huge part of our daily life. I cant go more than 2 hours with out eating and/or checking my blood sugar. This is really embarssing say if Im in the middle of a 3 hour movie, and no one else wants to pause it. *grrrrrr*
I cant begin to explain how much cancer sucks, and since I have never had cancer, Im sure I could never fully comprehend the suck factor, but at least for me, crafting is very theraputic. I mean, how cool would it be to have a big bold shirt that said *future* survivor for those days when you feel super discouraged and then had some craft supplies for those days when getting out of bed just isnt at the top of your to-do list?
I hope that helps and clarifies for some of the other possible participants!
