My friend asked me to do Battle Royale cosplay with her, and I finally got up and made my costume. I don't feel like putting buttons on it. Seriously, I don't trust my sewing machine anymore. And I can't find plain tan buttons anywhere! (not joann's, not hancock, not michaels, not walmart! gah!)

But, this took me like... 2 weeks to make I guess. Actually, more like one week broken up into parts. What I like best is the skirt. I like the outfit because I can just take away the gun and neck thing and wear it anywhere.

 Hooray!! Cosplay is awesome!

It looks fantastic, you did an amazing job with it. Both the jacket and skirt look very professional. I have tried making japanese schoolgirl outfits, but I can never seem to get it right =/

You could get buttons of another colour, and paint them. Acrylic paints would probably work fine, and it would be easier than searching all over for the right colour.

Ok...first the good:  I LOVE IT!!  It's like right from the movie!!  I know what you mean with the buttons, one can always find the ones you're not looking for.  Have you tried those covered buttons things?  You can just use the fabric from the outfit.

Now for the bad:  I feel like an a-hole....again....what's cosplay?

I never have an idle day,
New ideas come my way.
Don't know yet what I'll create,
But my imagination's great!

Cosplay is costume-play, ie dressing up in costumes.

Awesome costume! I love BR to death. <3

Well, I found a cheap, easy pattern by kwik sew for the jacket, and free sewed the skirt.

Oh, it's for Otakon by the way. Which is this thursday... and I finally finished my costumes.
