I made this bag for my other sister-in-law. She saw the other sister-in-laws purse and asked me to make one for her. She picked out the fabric from my stash and this took me two days of working on it off and on. When I have the energy, I'm going to make her a matching wallet too.

Anyway, here's some pictures of the Bag...

The green and pink polka dot lining extends to the inside part of the strap too. I couldn't get a good picture of the straps unfortunately. The third picture is of the inside and the inside back pocket. Let me know what you think!

Oh I love polka dots!
The fabric is great and I love the shape of the bag.
Did you use a pattern, or did you make it up as you went along?

It's from a pattern book called "Slouchy Bags" by Cindy Taylor Oats. I bought it on eBay a few weeks ago. Smiley

The small book has five different purse patterns in it. It's one of those thin books with master patterns so you have to trace the patterns, etc.

Smiley Such a fun book!

Cute.  Smiley Could you tell me what size bag this is? I'm thinking of buying the pattern book but wondering the size.
Thanks
Nancy

Adorable, I love the closure of the bag. Sounds like a book I need to get my hands on... Dun dun dun.

The pattern calls for interlining, did you do that? (I loved the bag so much I bought my own copy of the book on Ebay)
thanks!
