I made these pendants using a tutorial found here:
http://beadstudio.com/info.php?a=613

Here's my version:

I used leftover semi-precious stone and glass chips. I didn't have as many 'branches' as they suggested andused a legth of 20 gauge silver wire moulded around a round object and held closed with the leftover tail of one of the 'branches'.

Here are some variations:

A 'white' one made for my Lord of the Rings obsessed sister (she wanted a white tree of Gondor) I used memory wire for this one, not the best idea as it made the circle come out wonky.

A purple one using the most beautiful purple glass chips for my mum, again I didn't have the right wire for the frame, I used three strands of thin wire that I moulded around my round object and then reinforced by wrapping more wire around it before starting my tree. It gets bent out of shape really easily.

What do you guys think?

I like your top one better than the one that you designed it after.  The clear glass is nice too.

Cool!  Thanks for the link to the tute!
